not to forget. toronto was great as usual. sabbath morning at Kanisa fellowship just off of bayview; lunch at crystals; good discussion on music in church and quality, etc; sabbath evening in toronto at a little restaurant with a cuban jazz band (yeah, maybe only 2 songs, after being stored in the wine cellar); sweet billiard action; and some sweet west indian fair, rice and beans, etc.
alright. it's decided. the next sport I will attempt is surfing. this looked way too cool. it was a beautiful day - clear sky, windy, moderate waves. the water was brown from all the kelp - a little weird.
santa cruz has a variety of lazy seals, all harping underneath the fisherman's wharf. they kind of get trapped on these supporting trusses from high tide. I'd go nuts if I had to work with that noise going on all the time.
